Matthew, Josefa, and Aura from our group received offer to join the prestigious NIH funded U-Rise program for two years at KSU. In this program, they will be prepared for graduate program especially for PhD. Matthew, Josefa and Aura joined our lab from Spring 2022 and conducted independent research project. This research experience helped them to get offer joining this program from summer. Besides the yearly stipend (13K/year), they will receive 60% tuition waiver, summer research fund, travel fund, and many more.

Five of our group members received various departmental awards in chemistry and biochemistry.  Ali received the best graduate teaching assistant award, James received the Valor award, Noam received the best student award in pharmaceutical chemistry, Mary received the best student award in forensic chemistry, and Blaise received the best undergraduate teaching award. Please join me to congratulate them.

​​Ryan Faddis received the PhD offer from Penn State University. He also received a prestigious entrance scholarship as an outstanding incoming PhD students at Penn State. Ryan will join the Penn State in August.

Two new toys: Orbitrap Exploris™ 240 Mass Spectrometer and Thermo Scientific Vanquish Flex UHPLC Systems were installed. These instruments will be used as core facilities for the College of Science and Mathemetics
